Message: We loved this bed and breakfast. It's a perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor. It's a short 3 block walk to the edge of downtown Bar Harbor… comfy beds, beautiful homie feeling, parking in back, beautiful grounds and DELICIOUS breakfast included. Clean, full bath, some with a balcony.. very kind owners / managers of the property. For our breakfast we had fruit, tomato-bacon strata, and pumpkin bread. Wonderful!

Message: A delightful Inn. We arrived late, the owner was stopping by to close up the storm doors, so he checked us in. We booked LAST minute, and the graciously had space for us for 3 nights. We had to move rooms each night, but each of the rooms was delightful, and our belongings were carefully moved for us between rooms. The prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend staying at this Inn!

Message: It is imperative that you stay at a Bed and Breakfast when in the Northeast. Therefore, Anne's White Column is an ideal accommodation for a visit to Bar Harbor. The location is unbeatable and a walk to the quaint downtown is only 5min. The rooms are cute and well decorated, but the bed is the show stealer. I have never slept on a more comfy bed on a vacation. The breakfast is served hot every morning, with Maine blueberries often finding their way into the meal. The innkeeper Bob is a great host and is usually on site for any possible needs. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is room to socially distance and the space is kept very clean in line with COVID regulations. Top notch stay.

Message: 4. 8. Great location, very warm staff and bed was very comfy! Breakfast was something special every day and they even offered a little snack bag to take your bread specialty if you wanted to bring it along.

Message: Our stay was wonderful in ways we could never have predicted. This was our first visit to Bar Harbor. We had no idea you needed to be close enough to downtown to easily walk to the Town Center multiple times a day (because you will want to). This Inn was an easy walk yet far enough away to get away from the bars and restaurants of the Town Center. As stated in other reviews the breakfast is WONDERFUL. However, the best thing about this B&B is the people! Bob Bahr, the owner, is very friendly and makes a huge effort to make all his guests feel at home. We had pleasant visits with people from as far away as Australia and as close as Connecticut. Its a home environment - not a fancy hotel environment. We had an unexpected serious challenge at the end of our visit and Bob was so very generous and considerate as he helped us solve our problem. Thank you Bob!

Message: My first bed and breakfast experience and it was wonderful. Room was clean and a great size. Hosts were fantastic and helpful. The walk to down town was perfect so we didn't have to deal with parking. I have to say the biggest surprise was how amazing breakfast was. Better than some of the restaurants I'm not kidding. I wish I took more pictures of the place for the review but if the attention they put into breakfast tells you anything you won't be disappointed.

Message: This was our second time staying in a bread and breakfast. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary here and was really impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. Very beautiful quaint place and the served hot breakfast was a nice touch. They were even thoughtful enough to put lip balm in the bathroom knowing the cold weather we might get chapped lips. Thank you Bob for our nice conversations and the wonderful memories we shared. Wes and Crystal.
